Refund Policy

General Policy

All services provided by Conciliatory Measures LLC involve time, administrative work, and coordination with government offices. By booking our services, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.

 

Cancellations & Refunds Before Processing Begins Cancellations requested before documents are submitted to any government authority may be eligible for a partial refund. Any non-refundable fees already incurred (government fees, courier costs, processing labor) will be deducted.

 

After Processing Begins No refunds will be issued once: Documents have been submitted to the Secretary of State or U.S. Department of State, Government fees have been paid Courier or expedited services have been initiated. This includes standard, expedited, and same-day apostille services.

 

Government Fees (Non-Refundable) All government filing fees are non-refundable, regardless of outcome, including but not limited to: Washington Secretary of State apostille fees, U.S. Department of State authentication fees. These fees are set by government agencies and cannot be recovered once paid.

 

Notary & Mobile Notary Appointments Cancellations Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to the full service fee, especially for mobile appointments. Travel Fees Travel, parking, and after-hours fees are non-refundable once the notary has departed or arrived.

 

Client Errors & Rejections No refunds will be issued for: Incorrect or incomplete documents provided by the client, Documents rejected due to foreign country requirements, Client misunderstanding of apostille vs. notarization needs, or Changes in destination country requirements. We strongly encourage clients to confirm requirements with the receiving authority prior to submission.

 

Expedited & Same-Day Services All expedited, rush, and same-day services are non-refundable once initiated, due to the priority handling and resources required. Shipping & Courier Services Shipping fees (domestic or international) are non-refundable once shipment has been sent. Conciliatory Measures LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.

 

How to Request a Cancellation All cancellation requests must be submitted: In writing (email or intake portal) As soon as possible, to minimize incurred costs. Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 7–10 business days.
